Dr Tim Evans qualified in 1979 from the Westminster Hospital Medical School. After junior posts in some of London’s leading teaching hospitals he travelled throughout Africa and settled in Zimbabwe where he became the District Medical Officer of an area covering 5000 sq miles and managed a 100 bed hospital on the shores of Lake Kariba. Here he re-established primary health clinics in rural areas after 10 years of civil war. Later he would be involved in the creation of a flying doctor service operating throughout Zimbabwe and into neighbouring countries within Southern Africa. He returned to England in 1983 and acquired post graduate qualifications in General Practice, Anaesthetics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology whilst working in both NHS and Private Hospitals, including The Portland Hospital for Women and Children, The London Clinic and The Lister Hospital.
In 1990 Dr Tim Evans set up a private General Practice in Fulham, specialising in the care of women and children.
In 2000 he established the first fully integrated private General Practice at Westover House incorporating the best in conventional, complementary and alternative health care.
He has sat on the Medical Committee of King Edward V11 Hospital, the Council for the Chelsea Clinical Society, and given regular lectures at Christine Hill Antenatal Classes.
In 2012 he co-founded Grace Belgravia, the UK’s first luxury, women only, health, wellbeing and lifestyle club. He was Medical Director of Grace Medical, a pioneer in preventative medicine and ageing well through the integration of evidence based medical treatments with complementary therapies and holistic wellbeing. He gathered together a pre-eminent team of medical consultants and health practitioners that delivered healthcare services that included traditional General Practice, Functional Medicine, Musculoskeletal medicine, Bio-identical hormone therapy, Psychological medicine, Nutrition, Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hypnotherapy, Colonic hydrotherapy and an infusion clinic.
He is the Medical Director of Blossom House School for children with learning and communication difficulties.
He is a Trustee and UK Board member of Mothers2Mothers, a charity based in Cape Town providing healthcare services in 8 sub-Saharan countries. M2M provides funding for the screening, diagnosis and treatment of HIV positive women to ensure that their baby is born HIV negative. Since 2004 the organisation has managed the healthcare of millions of pregnant women and in that time has reduced the transmission rate of HIV from mother to baby from 40% to 1.7%. M2M employs 1000 mentor mothers to deliver various associated health programmes not only to pregnant women but also to children and young men and women to ensure that they remain HIV negative.
In 2003 he was appointed to the position of Apothecary to HM the Queen and The Royal Households of London.
In 2016 HM The Queen awarded him with an LVO for his services.
In 2024 HM The King awarded him with a CVO for his services.
